RELEASE AGREEMENT
Name of Event: 7th Annual City of Moody Fallen Officers Ride
Date of Ride: 13 SEPT 2026
EACH PERSON ATTENDING THE RIDE MUST READ THE INFORMATION CONTAINED WITHIN THE CONTENTS OF THIS WAVIER AND TO THE INFORMATION BELOW. BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE, YOU AGREE TO THOSE TERMS.
I/We do hereby agree to comply with the rules governing this ride/event, and I/we further agree to hold harmless the City of Moody, Moody PD, Moody Police Foundation, & St Michael's Legione LEMC, any/all members/sponsor/partner of the event, any property owner or landowner of any loss to myself or property in which I/we may become involved by reason of participation in this ride/event. I/We do also agree to assume responsibility for any property which I/we knowingly/unknowingly damage due to my carelessness or negligence.
The undersigned, on my own behalf and on behalf of my heirs, personal representatives, successor and assigns, for and in consideration of the opportunity to participate in the Fallen Officers Ride (hereinafter, RIDE) releases and holds harmless all aforementioned parties and each of the foregoing's respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, property owners, contractors, sponsors, charities and any beneficiaries (hereinafter, RELEASED PARITES) of the RIDE from any all claims, demands, rights and causes of any action of any kind whatsoever which I now have or later may have against the RELEASE PARTIES in any way resulting from, arising out of, or in connection with the performance of their duties and my participation in the RIDE.
This release extends to any and all claims I have or later may have against the RELEASED PARTIES resulting from or arising out of their performance of their duties whether or not such claims result from negligence (except willful neglect) on the part of any or all of the RELEASED PARTIES with respect to the RIDE or with respect to the conditions, qualifications, instructions, rules or procedures under which the RIDE is conducted or from any other cause. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS MEANS THAT I AGREE NOT TO SUE ANY OR ALL OF THE RELEASED PARTIES FOR ANY INJURY RESULTING TO MYSELF OR MY PROPERTY ARISING FROM, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR DUTIES IN SPONSORING, PLANNING OR CONDUCTING THE RIDE. I am experienced in and familiar with the operation of motorcycles/motor vehicles and fully understand the risks and dangers inherent with motorcycling /operating a motor vehicle. I possess a valid motorcycle/driver license and state required motorcycle/vehicle insurance. I am voluntarily participating in the RIDE and I expressly agree to assume the entire risk of any accidents or personal injury, including death, which I might sustain to my person and property as a result of my participation in the RIDE, and any negligence, except willful neglect, on the part of any and or all of the RELEASED PARTIES in performing their duties.
Further, I hereby grant permission to RELEASED PARITES the right to use, reproduce, and/or distribute photographs, files, video-tapes, and sound recordings of me without compensation or approval rights, for use in materials created for purposes of promoting that activities of RELEASED PARTIES.
By signing this release, I certify that I have read this Release and fully understood it and I am not relying upon any statements or representations made by the RELEASED PARTIES.
