Student members:
- shall be persons who are enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate psychology program in an academic institution. They don’t need to be in school full time and they can work. - Undergraduate Student members are entitled to the same privileges as graduate student members, except that they may not serve as Student Representative on the Executive Committee. - shall be entitled to membership and voting privileges on standing and ad hoc committees but may not vote at general meetings including the Annual General Meeting; - who are undergraduates may not hold the office of Student Representative on the Executive Committee.
Delivery of The Nova Scotia Psychologist Newsletter
It is preferred that APNS members receive the quarterly newsletter as a downloadable link. They also receive a twice monthly e-mail Member Update and occasional emails with notifications, events and Continuing Education opportunities. If you wish to unsubscribe from receiving these emails, or to update your email preference, please contact admin@apns.ca
Please indicate the APNS Committees in which you are interested in participating. As these committees are important to the growth and progress of APNS, so too is the input of our student members. Volunteer Credits are issued based on attendance at each meeting and are calculated each year before membership renewal. These credits can be applied to membership fees or in the case of students, to workshops or webinars for the following year.

APNS Interest Groups
APNS facilitates the formation of interaction among members with common interests. These are not formal committees but consist of communications facilitated through APNS. Formation will depend on getting a sufficient number interested.
