Course Assessment Planning

CGCC will conduct one Course Assessment a year for each instructor.
To begin the process, please choose one course to assess. After identifying the course that you will submit for assessment, find that course on the CGCC Course Content and Outcome Guides (CCOGs) list (https://www.cgcc.edu/ccogs.) Once you have navigated to your course's CCOGs page, locate the Course Outcomes section and choose two outcomes. You will copy and paste the two outcomes below under Outcome #1 and Outcome #2. If you are a returning instructor, please choose outcomes you have not assessed within the last two years, if possible.

1. Ensure that you can log into the Faculty Portal. If you cannot, contact cgraham@cgcc.edu for guidance.
2. Instruct your students to apply to CGCC using the Application Guide here. It is important that students apply to the correct program (College Now) and apply early, as our application process can take 1-2 weeks.
3. Guide students to register for your course. Your class will be available for registration during the CGCC quarter that aligns best with when your students receive their final grades for that course.
