  • Community Development Records

  • The Community Development Department oversees land use, development, and code enforcement activities within the City of Newcastle.

    For development records, addresses, parcel numbers, and permit numbers are helpful if known. Building records prior to the city's incorporation in 1994 may be available from King County.

    The King County parcel viewer (GIS) may be helpful to find information, such as past permits and tax information. Here is the link.

  • Current and archived budgets, capital improvement programs, economic updates and other related information. Please click here to view the contracts, auditor reports, or past budgets.

  • Police Records

  • Police records, including traffic citations and dispatch information, may be obtained from the King County Sheriff's Office. The City of Newcastle does not keep police records, including camera footage.

  • Public Works

  • The Public Works Department is responsible for building and maintaining most of the city's physical assets, such as its roads and bridges, stormwater management systems, parks, and other city properties and buildings. Many project documents can be found on our website or in the document center.

  • Fire/ EMS

  • In order to provide the best fire protection, the City of Newcastle contracts with the City of Bellevue. The Bellevue Fire Department can be reached at the link below.

  • Executive

  • The Executive Department is comprised of the City Manager, Human Resources, City Clerk, and Community Events. 

    The City Manager administers the day-to-day operations of the City. For general questions or concerns, you may contact the City Clerk's office. They will ensure that your concerns are handed off to the appropriate department.
