SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Artists may submit their own original artwork in any media; framed Limited Edition prints will also be considered. All artwork must be for sale.

All form submissions must include TITLE, SIZE (width x height x depth), MEDIUM, and PRICE. Submissions without all four descriptors will be ineligible for display in this exhibition.

Artwork presentation must meet these industry standards:

2D artwork : 2D art must be framed OR on gallery-wrapped canvas and finished (eg painted) edges. Must be wired on back, ready-to-hang (no “sawtooth” ); wire must not be visible from front of work. We cannot accept submissions smaller than 7 in x 7 in or larger than 56" wide. There may be very limited space for large works.

3D artwork : Please provide 3 dimensions as width x height x depth. If hanging, should comply with ready-to-hang standards above. For this venue, display space for small pieces may be limited to 16” depth, unless pedestal provided. Space available for large freestanding pieces.

Submission of any works does not guarantee admission in this exhibition and there is no refund of registration fees.

Disclosure Statement for Artist Submission

Answering a Call to Artists with FemArt is not just promoting your work but also contributing to FemArt's mission to support and promote all women artists.

We ask for a registration fee for our shows that is tax deductible. It is reinvested to support our shows and grow our efforts to give women a visual voice in our culture. (If this is a factor that will keep you from joining our exhibit we ask that you request a financial waiver or special circumstances so that we can get your voice seen in our shows without a financial burden. E-mail us your request for consideration if life is presenting unusual challenges for you right now and we will offer support.)
Commission on sales for this show is 30%. This is not a fee that can be waived and we ask that artists price their work with this consideration. The artist will receive 70% of the sale of their artwork.
INSURANCE - FemArt Gallery, Inc. and all venues for art exhibits do not provide insurance for artwork that is exhibited. We highly recommend that every artist have their work insured for damage or loss during a Femart event. FemArt Gallery, Inc. is not responsible for any damage or loss of artwork in transit or exhibition timeframe. Adele Grage Cultural Center does not insure individual artwork and is not held responsible for any damage or loss of artwork.
FemArt requires all works intended for exhibit be delivered ready to hang (per submission guidelines) on specified drop-off date. Sale of works hanging in an exhibition will be handled by FemArt directly (including sales tax collection/filing). Artist will be paid at the end of the exhibition.

Registration Fee for Non-Members

This fee is for nonmembers of the FemArt organization. Any artist is welcome to join--you may select Professional Artist Dues plus the FemArt Member Registration. Your discounted fees more than cover the dues in a year of shows.

Registration Fee is a tax deductible fee that is reinvested into FemArt Operations funds to create opportunities for women artists to participate in exhibitions, educational programs and community outreach.

All students enrolled at a local college and Students Under the Age of 18 Years Old May Register for this Discounted Fee.
