All applications for participation in this Grant Funded Non-Enforcement Pesticide Disposal Program will be put on a list, on a first come first serve basis, with priority being given to private property operators in Stanislaus County. The program only covers the disposal of unwanted pesticides, and does not cover the disposal of empty pesticide containers or other agricultural/industrial/home-use chemicals. Applications will be reviewed by the Stanislaus County Agricultural Commissioner's Office to determine eligibility. Product and weight verification, by the Agricultural Commissioner's Office, may be requested to ensure funds are available to cover the amount of products requested on the applicant's manifest. As applications are reviewed, applicants will be notified, no later than September 29, 2023, if program funding is available to cover the products identified on their manifest, and if so will be given details regarding the location, date, and time for delivery of the products to the collection site.
Please Note: No aerosol containers will be accepted. All dry pesticides must be in containers equal to or less than 55 Pounds. All liquid pesticides must be in containers equal to or less than 5 Gallons.
