We realise that people occasionally make mistakes and that the possibility of a shortage in our cash registers does exist. For this reason, you will not be required to make up cash shortages where error or inability is the cause.

However, this is a serious matter, and if you have a significant cash shortage, you will be notified, and your cash register procedures will be reviewed. To avoid any misunderstandings, the following cash register policies must be followed.

A copy of this policy will be emailed to you to digitally sign and acknowledge.

Failure to follow the Cash Control Policy will result in disciplinary action.
