Eligibility

The scheme is open to new and existing students.

To be considered for Financial Assistance, parents or guardians must hold a validated Centrelink Health Care Card or a Pensioner Concession Card and must be qualified for CSEF payment.

In addition to the family meeting the financial criteria, the school will take into consideration the extent to which it is thought the student will benefit from the educational provision of the school and the extent to which the school is able to meet the student’s needs.

Expectations of the recipient of financial assistance

• Positively promotes and represents the College

• Presents Christian character and service to the College, including wearing the College uniform with pride

• Strives to achieve personal excellence in all aspects of their schooling.

In renewing Financial Assistance, the College will take into consideration the student’s progress, attendance, behavior, and active participation in college activities.

Cessation of financial assistance

• The Principal may, with reasonable notice, revoke financial assistance for any reason considered appropriate.

The scholarship will cease if a student is found guilty of:

• a serious misdemeanor,

• persistent and wilful misconduct, or

• persistent refusal to meet academic deadlines and reasonable expectations of work.

• The assistance will cease at the end of the calendar year, parents/guardians will need to apply again for the following year.

General Information

Assistance given by LCC is limited and is intended to reduce the cost of some families of their tuition fees, to a level that they should be able to afford. Priority will be given to those families who have demonstrated commitment to the College, as evidenced by payment of past tuition fees (where applicable).

If your family is a split family, each partner will fill a seperate form.

Financial Assistance is applicable to tuition fees only excluding levies and Early Learning Centre fees.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT NOT ALL APPLICATIONS WILL NECESSARILY RECEIVE ASSISTANCE

When your financial position improves, it is expected that you will advise LCC, so assistance may be reallocated to those in greater need.

This assistance will be provided within the following limit and condition, a Direct Debit Authority for Tuition fees (through our FACTS Payment system) must be signed and remain in force for the assistance to remain valid.

I/we hereby make an application for tuition fee assistance for this/next year. This application is submitted in good faith, and I/we solemnly declare conscientiously believing that all details contained herein are true.

In the event this application results in a reduction of the College fee payable I/we agree and accept the reduced fees are made possible in part through the support and commitment of the whole College community of which I/we am/are part. I/we give the following undertaking:
- To pay the agreed assessed fee via the FACTS System,
- To keep this agreement confidential,
- To give the payment of college fees equal or higher priority for payment in recognition of the importance I/We place on the education of our child/ren, and
- To advise the College when financial circumstances result in assistance being no longer required.
The College will advise you of the outcome once we process the application.

Personal Details and Importance Details

The information requested on this form will only be used by the Principal, Business Manager, and the Accountant of LCC for the purposes of assessing fee relief. The information will be stored securely and will not be provided to any other person or organization. It will be destroyed when no longer required by the College.
