In the case of newly-established businesses and organisations whose accounts have not yet been approved, the data to apply should be taken from a reliable estimate made in the course of the financial year.

  • In order to access funding, you must declare you agree with the following statements:

    • The Hartree Centre | North East Hub offers {nameOf} a Minimum Financial Assistance (MFA) subsidy under the Subsidy Control Act (2022), subject to your agreement to, and compliance with, the terms and conditions set out below.
      Before support is given, we require written confirmation that receipt of support and therefore a subsidy will not exceed {nameOf}’s Subsidy Control Statutory Guidance 97 MFA threshold of £315,000 cumulated over this and the previous two financial years, as specified in section 36(1) of the Subsidy Control Act (2022).

    • I understand that the project can provide a maximum of 12 hours of support representing an estimated value of £1200.00. An updated value and Euro equivalent will be provided once support is complete.

    • I confirm, for and on behalf of, {nameOf} that receipt of MFA of estimated amount £1200.00 from Hartree Centre | North East Hub will not exceed {nameOf} MFA threshold of £315,000 including any MFA subsidies or comparable type of subsidies or state aid (including any De Minimis) specified in section 36(1) of the Subsidy Control Act (2022).

    • I confirm that our company or organisation is not an ‘undertaking in difficulty’ as defined by the Official Journal of the European Union L187/19 (Volume 57, Chapter 1, Article 2, Clause 18; published 26th June 2014).
