The following have been nominated by the Cricket Committee: (scroll down to read and vote if viewing on a phone/tablet) Mohit Shrivastava - Mo joined the club this season and he has brought a cutting edge to the clubs bowling attack. With three 5 wicket hauls, including a spectacular 7 for 25 against Langleybury, his 38 wickets in the Herts League season was more than anybody in Division 5 B, 3rd in the Herts League in overall and the joint highest anybody has taken for Boxmoor in league cricket in a season for at least 15 years! An added benefit is that he is such a humble person and a great addition to the club on a personal basis too. Daniel Hobbs - Hobbsy's enthusiasm towards the junior section of the cricket club has been unparalleled this year. Since completing his coaching badges, Dan has thrown himself into coaching at Boxmoor and his passion for the game rubs off onto the juniors - which have been seen with the improvements his teams have made. Without his dedication throughout winter and summer training, plus managing junior teams - alongside playing Saturday senior cricket - our junior section would be in a very different and difficult place. Dan Devine - Dan has shown an incredible hunger to improve his game in 2023. He's established himself as the regular Saturday 2nd XI and Sunday Chess Valley League XI wicket-keeper, claiming a lot of victims with his catches, stumpings and run outs. His batting has also shown improvements as the season has progressed, contributing to some big results for the teams. This has been born out of a desire to train, develop and learn game situations which impact the team - whilst also motivating others to do the same.
