Terms and Conditions of Entry 2024 WOG and NSWVGA Championships
1. All players must be financial members of the NSWVGA and over 55 years as at first day of play. Any competitors entered who are not members of the NSWVGA will be charged a NSWVGA affiliation fee of $5 on registration. Ladies who are members of the VWGA are NOT automatically members of NSWVGA.
2. NSWVGA Policies 2 & 9 respectively will apply to the WOG & State Championship events for Men & Ladies.
3. Male players who nominate for the Stroke championships cannot nominate for Stableford events.
4. Male Strokeplay entrants will play off the ORANGE tee markers; Male Stableford off the WHITE Tees whilst the Ladies events will be off the RED markers
5. NSWVGA Shield will be held over 18 hole Stableford on the Thursday. To be eligible a player must play on either day one or 2.
6. Daily 18 hole competitions will be conducted in conjunction with NTPs.
7. Playing Handicap limits are 54 for Men and Ladies. The number of grades for men and women will be determined by the number of entries received. A competitor may win only one major prize, as directed by the NSWVGA.
8. Daily handicaps and grades will be the handicap on the day of play. If grades or divisions are required for multi-round events, the grade on the first round will be the grade for the multi-round event.
9. All competitions are played in accordance with the latest Rules of Golf and amendments.
10. All daily events are separate competitions and daily prizes will be awarded accordingly. When a Major Event is conducted in conjunction with a daily event the major event will take precedence over the daily event when awarding prizes. All tied events shall be decided by countback system.
11. Closing date for entries will be Sunday 14th September. Post entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Tournament Director if vacancies occur.
12. Refunds considered on merit up to 7 days prior to commencement of the first day’s play. An administration fee may be deducted from refunds approved after 14th September.
13. The Dubbo Veteran Golfers Association can accept no responsibility for the welfare of competitors on the course during the event.
14. Cart Hire: All cart allocations will be made through the tournament management. Sharing of carts is required to increase the cart availability. Carts are limited and early notification of cart requirement is essential. The Tournament Management will endeavour to allocate carts required but will take no responsibility for the availability of carts.
15. Starting times may change slightly due to late cancellations or weather. Please report to the starter 30 minutes prior to your advised tee time. Tee times will be emailed to entrants or displayed at clubhouse prior to each day’s play. A valid email address and mobile phone number will assist with tournament communication.
