GWLD IS VOLUNTEER BASED RESCUE WE ARE A NON PROFIT ALL ADOPTION FEES GO TO THE COST OF ANIMALS UNDER OUR CARE. ADOPTION FEES ARE $ 350 for adult dogs and $500 for Puppies and NON REFUNDABLE . FEES INCLUDE FIRST SET OF VACCINATIONS AND. IF NEEDING TRANSPORT , WE USE A THIRD PARTY , TRIPS TO OREGON AND WASHINGTON ARE $175 PLEASE ADD THAT TO ADOPTION FEE WHEN MAKING PAYMENT. FOR TRANSPORT TO ALL OTHER STATES PLEASE INQUIRE FOR PRICING. ONCE PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE PLEASE SEND RECEIPT FOR CONFIRMATION.

I do hereby confirm to the following terms & conditions and undertake that:
1. I am over eighteen (18) years of age.
2. In any case where I am no longer able to care for the animal I will first reach out to GWLD to see if rescue can take the animal back and place it back under their care, if for any reason the rescue cannot , I will work with the rescue to responsibly rehome it. During the time of rehoming of I can no longer keep the animal at my residence I will be responsible for all costs for animal which may include boarding , transport ,basic needs, vet care etc. I agree to never relinquish the animal back to the animal shelter and I will not abandon it. I will provide documents to show the animal has been homed to a suitable person, with suitable premises. In the event that this is not the case, I also agree that I will be liable for all costs which GWLD may incur, including all legal costs on an attorney and client scale, in recovering possession of the animal.
3. I will give the animal a fair chance to adjust to its new home.
4. I understand that adoption fees and transport fees are not refundable or transferable.
5. I will feed and house the animal with exceptional care.
6. I will not chain or cage the animal, and understand that is not suitable shelter.
7. I can afford the services of a private veterinary practitioner.
8. I will ensure that vaccinations are kept up to date and in the case of injury or illness professional veterinary treatment will be provided.
9. If for some reason the animal is not neutered or spayed I agree to to neuter or spay once under my care and will provide GWLD with proper proof that procedure has been done. If I fail to do so the rescue has the right to take back the animal for failing to honor conditions of adoption.
10. I will identify my dog with a collar and identification tag – only elasticised collars may be used for cats.
11. My property is adequately enclosed and at no time shall I knowingly allow my dog to roam the streets.
12. I will notify GWLD within forty-eight (48) hours should the animal die or go missing.
13. I know and understand the "By-Laws Pertaining to Dogs" of the Municipality in which I reside.
14. I will notify GWLD of any change of address in writing by registered post within seven (7) days
15. Liability Release and Waiver:
  • I hereby release and waive any and all claims, actions, or causes of action against GWLD its representatives, agents, and volunteers arising out of or related to the adoption or care of the adopted animal.
  
  I acknowledge that I have read and understood all the terms and conditions of this adoption contract waiver and agree to abide by them.
