    Agreement of Release and Waiver of Liabiity
  • Definitions:

    Participant:  The person named as Retreat Participant on Page 1 of this form

    Retreat:  Retreat held at Stroud Monastery for the Weekend 1-3 August 2025

    Retreat Organisers: Carol Cleary (also trading as See Clearly Soul Work; and her representative(s); employees, assistants, affiliates, activity coordinators; and presenters)

    Venue Operators:  Tocal College and its representatives; employees; assistants; and affiliates

  • I, hereby agree to the following:

    • The Participant acknowledges that they are participating in the Retreat where the Participant will receive information and instruction about spiritual and personal development, yoga, meditation, movement and may possibly be taking swims and/or going on bush walks.  The Participant recognises that these activities require physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and the Participant is fully aware of the risks and hazards involved
       
    • It is the Participant's requirement to inform the Retreat Organisers if they are pregnant and they are required to seek permission from their medical practitioner
       
    • It is the Participant's requirement to inform the Retreat Organisers of any health concerns (including mental health) or physical injuries / ailments prior to the commencement of the Retreat
       
    • The Retreat Organisers do not supply health, medical or mental health advice. Instead we will guide you through meditation, breathwork, yoga or other retreat activities and will create a safe space to enjoy your experience
       
    • The Participant accepts that they are entirely responsible for their own personal safety, health, and mental, physical, emotional, and general well-being during and after the Retreat.  The Participant releases the Retreat Organisers of any liability for any injuries or damages mentally or physically that they might incur during or after the Retreat. The Retreat Participant understands that the Retreat is in no way psychotherapeutic or medical in nature. The Retreat is not involved with the treatment of disease of any kind and does in no way substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment
       
    • In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the Retreat, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have the Retreat Organisers for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the Retreat. The Participant, their heirs and legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Retreat Organisers for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts
       
    • The Retreat Organisers do not treat, prescribe, or diagnose any illness, disease, or any other physical or mental disorder. Any personal advice or answers to the Participant's questions that are given on this Retreat are for entertainment purposes only. The Participant releases the Retreat Organisers  from any injuries or damages mentally or physically that they may incur during or after this Retreat as a result of following any advice given to me on this Retreat

    Venue Operators:  Tocal College and its representatives; employees; assistants; and affiliates

    Payment

    • Bookings are confirmed only upon full-payment of the invoice issued
    • There are no discounts for late arrivals or early departures
    • Unless otherwise stated, retreat prices are in $AU and per person
    • By submitting a completed Registration Form, the Participant agrees to the Retreat Terms and Conditions

    Bookings

    • The payment of the deposit commits the Participant to attending the Retreat
    • Confirmed bookings may be transferred to another person should the Participant be unable to attend. The Retreat Organisers must be informed in writing via email and information of the new person must be supplied.  The replacement is obligated to submit a registration form
    • Once the Paticipant has submitted a registration form, the Participant will receive an invoice by way of confirmation of the booking.  The Participant will be sent additional information via email further to the start of the Retreat

    Cancellations and Refunds

    • Once a registration has been submitted, refunds will be not be available due to the Organisers paying in advance for all retreat activities.
    • If the Participant cancels within two (2) weeks of the Retreat, the Retreat Organisers may offer a retreat credit (instead of a refund, less booking fee) so the Paricipant can reschedule to another available date (if available).  The request must be sent via email
       

    Retreat Centre

    • All requirements specified by the Retreat Centre are to be adhered to at all times
    • Smoking and recreational drug use is prohibited in and around the retreat centre, including the surrounding bushland
    • It is the Participant's responsibility to keep all items (including high value items) stored securely.  No responsibly is taken for any personal property
    • Only confirmed attendees are permitted at the retreat centre.  Sorry, no guests
    • Participation in Retreat activities are not compulsory, however the Retreat Organisers encourage the Participants to take part in as many activities as they can to make the most of the retreat experience
        

    Use of Written and Photographic Material

    • The Retreat Organisers will request that Paticipants provide feedback at the conclusion of the Retreat and will seek permission to use this feedback as marketing content
    • Any photographs taken by Retreat Organisers of the Participants taken in and around the Retreat, may be used by us for marketing purposes.  However, all photos taken used for promotional material will be non-identifiable (unless specifically requested by the individual Participants)
    • If the Participant would prefer the Retreat Organisers do not any of the above material, the Patricipant will advise the Retreat Organisers of this via email
  • Payment

  • Should be Empty:
