Prioritizing sustainability is critical to The Buildings Show team, as we understand the environmental impact of the events industry. The Buildings Show strives to identify, understand and address these impacts to achieve continual improvement year after year.
Our parent company, Informa, tracks all event sustainability through key fundamentals, DEI essentials and event metrics. Better Stands is a new fundamental that aims to unite and encourage exhibitors, along with their appointed contractors, to move away from disposable, single use stands at events, in favour of re-usable or recyclable structures. We'll ask you about things like lighting, materials in your booth, how you're shipping your booth, and transportation while your staff is on-site in Toronto with the goal of helping you ascertain changes you can make to reduce your impact on the environment both at The Buildings Show and ideally at all other shows you’re exhibiting in.
