COVID-19 Policies
Per OHA and the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, all employees must take notice of the latest rules and regulations for Personal Care facilities. By signing, dating and returning this document, you are acknowledging that::
I agree to be tested every 14 days if I start to have any of the symptoms (listed here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/symptoms.html) for COVID-19 and tested when knowingly exposed to the virus. I agree to provide proof of testing and acknowledge that failure to meet testing requirements will result in temporary removal from the studio and client schedule until completed. IMMERSE Modern Massage is not financially responsible for providing testing. Employees may access free testing sites.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, I agree to:
Wash my hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating
Avoid touching my eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Avoid close contact with people and not shake hands.
Wear a face mask or cloth face covering that covers my nose and mouth when in public and/or when 6 feet of social distancing cannot be maintained.
Cover my cough and sneezes with a tissue and discard it in a closed container.
Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects.
Stay home if I feel sick and notify management immediately so they may handle my client schedule.
Stay home for at least 24 hours if I have a fever and after my fever is gone without the use of fever-reducing medicines, such as acetaminophen.
Keep sick household members away from others
Use soap and water, a bleach and water solution, or EPA-approved household products. *You can make your own cleanser with a mixture of 1 cup of liquid unscented chlorine bleach in 5 gallons of water.
Avoid sharing personal items.
I agree to ensure 6 ft. of distance between myself and colleagues/clients, except during the actual massage session.
I agree to ensure massage table sheets are changed between clients and massage tables are properly disinfected in between each use.
I agree to perform massages on customers in supine positions only when I’m equipped with a face covering. I agree to ensure that clients do wear face coverings when switching from prone to side or supine position.
Anyone at high risk for complications should talk to their healthcare provider for more information.
I agree to adhere to hygiene, cleaning, and disinfection requirements from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Department of Health (DOH) and maintain logs in the studio that document date, time, and scope of cleaning and disinfection.
I agree to conduct regular cleaning and disinfection at least after every shift, daily, or more frequently as needed, and more frequent cleaning /disinfection of shared objects and high risk areas. Ensure that workstations (e.g. chairs, headrests, work surfaces, massage tables, oil bottles, door handles) and reusable tools are cleaned and disinfected between each customer.
