I understand that I am participating in events for "Pack Walks in Baltimore County" at my own risk; organizers will not be held responsible for injury to me or my pet or loss of my pet during the walk.
I understand that attending a pack walk does not come without the risk of injury or communicable illness to me or my dog.
I agree to keep my dog leashed at all times (only leashes 6ft or shorter are allowed; no retractable leashes, long lines, or flex leads).
I agree to bring at least one human handler per dog (walking multiple dogs per person is not allowed).
I agree to keep my dog a minimum of 2ft away from all other dogs during the duration of the pack walk.
I understand that dogs playing rowdily with each other during the walk is discouraged, and should be avoided and/or re-directed.
I agree to ask other handlers permission before approaching to greet their dogs with my own.
I understand that allowing my dog to greet or be greeted by other dogs comes at my own risk; I will not allow my dog to be greeted or greet other dogs if I am unsure how they will react.
I understand that it is my responsibility to clean up after my pet during the walk, I will bring waste bags on the walk, and I am aware that some trails may not have trash cans available.
I understand that if my dog's behavior becomes too disruptive or dangerous to the group, I will be asked to move away from the pack.
I understand that if my dog causes injury to another dog or human during the walk, due to handler negligence or failure to follow above rules, I will not be invited to attend future walks.
I understand that some dogs attending the walk may still be working on their training skills and might become reactive; I agree to show respect, understanding, and patience towards all dogs and people in attendance.
