FEES: Each unit is subject to its own fees and pricing. When available, program activities such as climbing wall, high challenge course, low challenge course, etc., will be based on per-person costs. Girl Scouts of Western Ohio reserves the right to update fees and pricing as needed. Once a unit has been reserved and paid, the price will not be subject to any fee or pricing updates.

RESERVATIONS AND REQUIRED TRAINING: Reservations must be made with full payment due at the time of reservation. At least one adult accompanying the Troop or Service Unit, must be “Camp Certified” (Lodge Camping: Lodge Camp Training, all other camping: Troop Camp Training) by Girl Scouts of Western Ohio and will be responsible for providing an orientation to their group on the Camp’s safety procedures including but not limited to, campsite boundaries, behavior expectations, and natural/physical hazards on site. At least one adult must be currently certified in CPR and First Aid. This adult(s) shall be responsible for providing first aid, ensuring that the first aid kit is stocked in accordance with American Red Cross recommendations, securing emergency care and/or emergency transportation. During the entire duration of the reservation, the Troop and/or Service Unit is responsible for the supervision and behavior management of all group members. Further, all Troops or Service Units must follow the guidelines outlined in the Volunteer Essentials and Safety Activity Checkpoints for additional Girl Scout activity standards.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS: Cancellations must be submitted in writing to reservations@gswo.org no less than thirty (30) days prior to the reservation to receive a refund.

PROGRAM ACTIVITIES: Program Activities vary by location and may not be offered at all Camp Properties. Staff-led activities are subject to staff availability. Activities such as Climbing Wall and High Challenge Course are requested through the Program Request jotfom Other specialized programs such as Archery, Canoeing, Swimming, Low Challenge Course, etc. require specially trained adults. Girl Scouts of Western Ohio does not secure trained adults for individual troops. All activities must be carefully planned and organized by the Troops or Service Units and must follow the guidelines outlined in the Volunteer Essentials and Safety Activity Checkpoints.

CAPACITIES AND DAY USE: Troops and Service Units must follow all capacities as listed for each unit in the description. Areas that are reserved as ‘Day Use Only’ must be used solely during the day and no guests are permitted to sleep in these areas. If unsure of the capacity of a unit, please email reservations@gswo.org for clarification.

CLEANING: It is the responsibility of the Troop or Service Unit to clean the unit prior to leaving camp. Each unit has the cleaning supplies needed and a checklist as to what should be cleaned. Camp belongs to all of us – As members of Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, our Council properties belong to you! Remember, Girl Scouts always leaves it better than they found it. If a Troop or Service Unit arrives at a unit that was not properly cleaned, please contact the Ranger or email reservations@gswo.org.

ADDITIONAL: In the event of an emergency, including but not limited to medical concerns, fire, camp security, or intruders, please call 911 and notify the Ranger as soon as possible. Ranger contact information can be found in the confirmation email and is posted in all units. When staying at a Camp Property, please follow all guidelines in the Site User Guide, including but not limited to, parking of vehicles. Please only park in designated areas, follow the camp speed limit, and only have one car per unit. Troop Leaders must obtain written Permission Slips and Photo Releases from all caregivers or all troop members. The Troop Leader should have these forms with them until after the camping trip is over. If non-Girl Scouts are attending (adults included), additional insurance must be purchased prior to the reservation. Please refer to the guidelines outlined in the Volunteer Essentials and Safety Activity Checkpoints for obtaining this insurance.
