Thank you for your interest in applying to present at the MLC Virtual Learning & Network events on September 27 & 28, 2023. Below you will find the event details outlining the available sessions. Please complete the form below to submit your application.

DESCRIPTION: The virtual learning and networking event is a forum to share best practices and discuss the unique opportunities and challenges associated with mobile laboratories and STEM education. Since this is a virtual event, we are using unique formats to keep engagement high. This includes limiting presentations to five slides in five minutes and spending more time on discussions and networking. Sessions will include engagement and team building among programs, highlighting innovative features of member laboratory designs and/or equipment, keynote speakers on Inclusive Design and Embracing Communities and leaders and stakeholders in our work, and sharing out evaluation and curriculum best practices.

Wednesday, September 27 - Call for Abstracts
Showcase: Highlighting Innovative Features (5:20pm ET)
Share examples of innovative or advanced laboratory designs and/or equipment.

Thursday, September 28 - Call for Abstracts
Network Sharing and Learning (concurrent sessions - 3:45pm ET)
Session A: Evaluation
What are some best practices that you are using to evaluate your programs? What data are you collecting? How are you collecting this data? Has your evaluation results led to significant programmatic practices or policies?

Session B: Curriculum
What innovative topics or strategies are being used in teaching on your mobile laboratories?

By submitting an application to attend one of the Virtual Learning & Network sessions you grant permission to the Mobile Laboratory Coalition (and its affiliates) to take and use your photo in marketing and promotional pieces for an indefinite period of time. Marketing and promotional pieces include, but are not limited to, printed brochures, reports, flyers as well as online uses such as posting on the Mobile Laboratory Coalition website, online newsletters, and e-mail blasts. Sessions will be recorded*

Each session has a limited capacity. Upon submission, your application will be reviewed and someone from the MLC planning committee will reach out to you with next steps and the status of your application.
