Why like this online, is there not a list available from the Society? In accordance with the Companies Act 2014 the Society maintain a register of the membership. Any member is entitled to a copy of this list. When a hard copy of this list has been requested from the society, the Society and its President have denied the legitimate right to a hardcopy of the membership list. The Candidates running for election do not have a hardcopy available to them. Refusal to voluntary provide a hard copy of the list has been denied citing legal opinion which has not been provided to anyone, along with GDPR cited which the Data Protection Commission have advised is not applicable. In order to circumvent the obstacles put in the way of the membership the best possible option is to liaise directly with you the membership via this link. We will be requesting an EGM in accordance to the Articles of Association, because of our shared concerns regarding the behaviour of the Executive Officers and their supporters on council, that is resulting in the mismanagement of the society and resulting in the slow issue of passports for our foals.
