      A sponsor makes an up-front commitment to support Scouting in central Indiana at a variety of levels. In turn, the sponsor is provided the opportunity to include their name and/or logo on event collateral as well as other benefits.       Table hosts recruit 10 guests to sit at their table with a goal of raising money to support Scouting in central Indiana prior to the event or during the free-will offering portion of the program. Many tables raise $5,000 or more by inviting those in their networks with an affinity towards Scouting and capacity to give at a meaningful level.

We will celebrate the 28th year of this event – Tuesday, December 12, 2023, 12:00-1:15 p.m., at Lucas Oil Stadium. Governor Holcomb is one of the great supporters of Scouting and is so enthusiastic about the importance of this luncheon. {emailContent272}

      It is the single largest one-day fundraising event for the Boy Scouts of America anywhere in our country. Last year, we filled the stadium with 1600 attendees! It has also been a time when our governors have made powerful, thoughtful statements about their commitments to young people and why Scouting matters to our communities. I doubt that there are many states where governors of both parties have steadfastly supported such an event and used it to address the most critical issues of our day.       This year’s event Co-Chairs are Steve Campbell (Indianapolis Colts), DuJuan McCoy (Circle City Broadcasting), Akilah Darden (IU Health and The Darden Group), and Kip Chase (Eli Lilly and Company).

The default gift amount for attendees at a sponsored table is $225 (the amount required to support one Scout in the program).

      While not required, you may provide a higher amount for your attendees who you think have the inclination do so.
