Off-Site Adventure & Transport Authorization On weekends or during quieter downtime hours, boarding dogs may occasionally be taken off-site for enrichment outings such as visits to private off-leash dog parks or secure recreational spaces. Dogs participating in off-site outings will be transported in the Whoa Doggie vehicle and supervised by staff at all times, this will be at Whoa Doggie's discretion and at no extra cost to you.

Boarding Schedule & Pricing

Boarding is $85 per night, with check-in beginning at 4:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM.

Drop-offs or pick-ups outside of these times on weekdays and Saturdays will incur standard daycare charges. Daycare charges do not apply during consecutively booked boarding days.

Additional dogs from the same household are $45 per night.

Advance Booking & Short-Notice Requests
Whoa Doggie intentionally maintains a small boarding program so we can provide each dog with personalized care and 24/7 on-site supervision throughout their stay. Because boarding staff are scheduled according to our confirmed reservations, we ask that boarding be booked at least 48 hours in advance whenever possible.

Requests submitted within 48 hours of the requested check-in time are considered short-notice boarding requests and are subject to both space and staffing availability. Short-notice and same-day boarding cannot be guaranteed, even when space may appear to be available.

We will always do our best to accommodate our regular clients when possible, but advance booking is strongly encouraged to ensure we can arrange appropriate staffing and maintain the level of care provided to our boarding guests.

Sunday Boarding Care
The Enrichment Centre is closed for regular daycare on Sundays. Care continues for dogs staying with us for boarding, with Sunday drop-offs and pick-ups available by appointment.

Sunday Pick-Ups: Boarding checkout is by 11:00 AM. Dogs remaining in our care after 11:00 AM will be charged an additional $85 Sunday Extended Check-Out charge.

Sunday Drop-Offs: Regular boarding check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Boarding dogs requiring drop-off before 4:00 PM will be charged an additional $85 Sunday Early Check-In charge. Early Sunday drop-offs are subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.

Sunday Daycare: Daytime-only daycare is not available on Sundays.

Food, Snacks & Comfort Items
Because boarding dogs are often more active during their stay, we strongly recommend sending extra snacks or calories from home, such as additional kibble, chewing treats, wet food, enrichment items, or other favourite goodies. Familiar snacks and chews can also help dogs settle and relax during evening quiet time.

We encourage all boarding guests to bring comfort items from home. These items will be provided to your dog during bedtime and quiet periods only. Recommended comfort items may include a blanket, towel, T-shirt, small bed, or favourite stuffed toy.

By providing personal items, you acknowledge that Whoa Doggie is not responsible for belongings that become damaged, soiled, or destroyed during your dog’s stay.

Emergency Contact & Veterinary Care
Please ensure your PetPocketbook profile is updated with a local emergency contact and current veterinarian information.

In the event of an emergency, we will contact you first. If we are unable to reach you, we will then contact your emergency contact. If we are unable to reach either party, Whoa Doggie will proceed with the care we find most appropriate for the situation while continuing attempts to contact you.

If veterinary care is required, we will first attempt to contact your preferred veterinarian and then, if necessary, an emergency veterinary clinic. By signing this waiver, you authorize Whoa Doggie to seek veterinary treatment on your dog’s behalf when deemed necessary and agree that you are financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred during your dog’s stay.

Liability Agreement
By signing this waiver, I understand and agree that I am responsible for any damages or injuries caused by my dog while attending Whoa Doggie daycare or boarding services, including but not limited to injury to other dogs, people, property, or facility items, and agree to cover the costs associated with such damages.
