The Partnership Alliance (PA) is a national coalition of state and regional higher education associations representing over 200 colleges and universities. The PA is collectively committed to advancing the public purposes of higher education through civic and community engagement.
The Partnership Alliance is the recipient of a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service Grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service (AmeriCorps) that will be subgranted to colleges and universities to host volunteer generating events and programs on their campuses and in their communities on or around MLK Jr. Day 2024 on January 15, 2024. Combined, the grant will support events and programs that engage 6,600+ student volunteers on their campuses.
While a full application form will be released later in Fall 2023, the Partnership Alliance is releasing this Call of Grant Interest to determine and begin cultivating relationships with representatives from campuses that might be interested in applying for a subgrant.
Please complete the form below to submit your interest. Suggested grant amounts by number of students engaged are below:
100 students engaged = ~$1,000 grant
200 students engaged = ~$2,000 grant
400+ students engaged = ~$5,000 grant
Please complete this Call for Grant Interest form by no later than September 20, after which your affiliated Partnership Alliance organization will be in touch to share the application.
