Specialty Consulting Assistance Grant

NYSID’s wants to see Member Agencies succeed and is available to address specific business development needs, such as finalizing a business plan, evaluating a potential investment in facilities, equipment or technology, or development of operations and personnel.

To participate, Member Agencies should develop a summary of the expertise they need, and the anticipated benefits of the consulting services. Requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Funding is subject to availability.

Member Agencies may apply for Specialty Consulting Assistance on an annual basis, but shall only be awarded every two years. The maximum award shall be $2500. Funds are awarded at the discretion of the President & CEO.

Application Process:

NYSID’s President & CEO shall approve or deny the application within 60 days of receipt.

All funds shall be expended and a receipt submitted to NYSID within the fiscal year that the funds were awarded (October 1 - September 30). Under certain circumstances, extension requests beyond the fiscal year may be granted. Extension requests should be made to NYSID’s VP, Compliance.

Final Report:

A final report shall be due within 6 months of the approval of the application and shallould include:
