Kilgore's Medical Pharmacy can only vaccinate individuals over the age of 18 and in accordance to CDC recommendations for immunizations. If you are not 18 and/or do not meet the CDC requirements for an immunization you have requested we will not be able to provide the vaccination. Vaccine Requested*

RSV Vaccinations require a prescription from a doctor. The RSV Vaccine is meant for patients ages 60+. Please discuss with your primary care provider about sending in a prescription to the pharmacy. If you would like Kilgore's to send a request on your behalf, please fill in the information for yourself and your Primary Care Provider and we will submit a request for a prescription. Once we get the prescription we will contact you to schedule a time for you to come in and receive the vaccine.

For Flu Shots: Are you over the age of 65? *

As of right now, we have not received our High-Dose Flu shots meant for those ages 65 and up. If you are wanting a High-Dose Flu shot please check back periodically. Thank you for your understanding.

The CDC and Kilgore's both recommend that individuals over the age of 65 receive a high-dose flu shot. There have been multiple studies that show the high-dose vaccine is more effective for people in this age group.

For RSV Vaccine*

If you requested a vaccine in addition to RSV you can schedule an appointment for the other immunization but know that we won't be able to administer the RSV vaccine on that date if we have not received a prescription from your provider yet.

While the CDC allows for RSV and Flu Vaccines to be given at the same time, there are studies that show an increase in post-vaccine symptoms (i.e. injection site soreness, fever) as well as a decrease in immune response to each vaccine. For this reason, we recommend waiting 2 weeks between RSV and Flu vaccinations.
