Tornado Shelters
American Red Cross partnered with the Community Foundation of West KY and the West Kentucky Disaster Recovery and Resiliency Center to provide 110 storm shelters to individuals living in counties declared by FEMA as eligible for individual assistance after the December 2021 tornadoes. Priority will be given to those impacted by the tornado with an income level at or below 80% of the average median income per county.
