    • Instructor Services: 
      • Instructor agrees to provide the following information in a timely manner:
        • Class/workshop/lecture description.
        • Brief biography.
        • 3-4 high-resolution images in .jpg or .png format (at least 1200 px on the shortest dimension).
        • Student supply list.
      • Instructor agrees to arrive at the venue at the date and time previously agreed upon with the Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance and to arrive prepared to teach/lecture on the title/topic listed above.
      • Instructor agrees to supply all of the necessary equipment, materials, supplies, handouts, and visual aids other than the SEFAA-provided materials and supplies listed above.
      • Instructor agrees to return the SEFAA Center to the same condition it was in at their arrival and to return all SEFAA supplies and equipment used while teaching to their original locations.
      • Instructor agrees to inform SEFAA of any extra/unexpected travel and/or shipping costs before they are incurred.
      • Instructor agrees to inform SEFAA as soon as possible if extenuating circumstances prevent the instructor from arriving at the agreed-upon location and date
    • SEFAA Services: 
      • SEFAA agrees to furnish a location for the class/workshop/lecture, complete with tables and chairs and any additional equipment/supplies listed above.
      • SEFAA agrees to supply other equipment if requested and available.
      • SEFAA agrees to provide registration and payment services.
      • SEFAA agrees to provide room and board for the instructor as detailed above. 
      • SEFAA agrees to pay the instructor in full after completion of instructor services and receipt of all relevant receipts.
      • SEFAA agrees to inform the instructor as soon as possible if the class/workshop/presentation is canceled due to under-enrollment or for extenuating circumstances.
    • Additional Terms: 
      • COPYRIGHT: All instructional materials distributed during the class remain the property of the Instructor and may not be reproduced for any purpose without the Instructor's express written permission. Audio or visual recording in any form shall not be permitted in the class without the Instructor's permission.
      • RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE PARTIES: Instructor is retained by SEFAA only for the limited purposes detailed in this Agreement, and his/her relationship to SEFAA is as an independent contractor. Instructor is not an employee or agent of SEFAA and is not entitled to participate in any medical, worker’s compensation, or other employee plans or arrangements of SEFAA.
      • TERMINATION: This agreement may be terminated by Instructor or by SEFAA with written notice a minimum of fourteen (14) days but preferably thirty (30) days prior to the starting date of the workshop. If Instructor, during the term of this Agreement, neglects or refuses to perform his/her duties under this Agreement or violates any other provision of this Agreement, SEFAA may immediately terminate this Agreement.
      • ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This agreement between SEFAA and Instructor supersedes all prior agreements, oral or written, and cannot be changed or amended except in writing signed by both parties.
      • GOVERNING LAW: This agreement shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia.
