• Product Design Incubator - Fall Follow-up

  • This form is intended to capture your availability this fall to follow up from our work last summer. We'll be meeting 3 times this semester, with the goal of updating each of your CVs to include your projects from the incubator. In particular, we'll be working to develop the following:

    1. A brief description of your project that can appear on your CV

    2. A 1-page visual representation of your project that will provide someone unfamiliar with your product a quick introduction.

    3. An updated version of your CV that includes the above.

    We're planning on holding 3 virtual meetings, described below:

    Group Meeting 1 (1 hour): During this meeting, we'll debrief from the summer and explain in detail what makes a good CV. In your groups, you'll develop a brief description of your projects that will appear on all of your CVs. Date: week of September 25th.

    Individual Meeting 2 (20 minutes): During these office hour style meetings, we'll provide individualized help with your CV to help you be more competitive on the job market. These meetings will be scheduled individually. Date: week of October 9nd.

    Group Meeting 3 (30 minutes): During this final meeting, we'll talk about plans for the future and identify how we can support you going forward. Date: week of October 30th.

    Group meetings are mandatory. Individual meetings to discuss your CV are optional, but strongly recommended. The last part of your stipend ($200) will be sent to you when you turn in your updated CV on Canvas!
