Program Description:
This trainings focuses on preparing social work supervisors to facilitate competency based supervision, by enhancing knowledge about pertinent functions of the social work supervisor and identifying standards by which to establish expectations for evaluating the competency of social work practice. Participants will gain confidence in how to develop and utilize their leadership skills to facilitate a collaborative and supportive supervision relationship.
Adventures is Social Work Supervision PT1. Training Objectives:
1. Define the functions of social work supervision.
2. Summarize the goals and objectives of social work supervision.
3. Examine applicable statute and regulations and generalize ethical and legal obligations for social work supervision.
Adventures in Social Work Supervision PT. 2 Training Objectives:
1. Practice reflective supervision techniques to enhance self-awareness and promote continuous learning.
2. Describe approaches to provide constructive feedback and performance evaluation to social work supervisees.
3. Explain steps for managing conflicts and addressing ethical dilemmas.
