General Info
The RecPlex Fieldhouse has 8 basketball courts, 12 volleyball courts, and 8 scoreboards for basketball courts. Rental fees include: Fieldhouse court space, chairs, scoretables, basic housekeeping, and maintenance set-up. The prices are current fees and are subject to change. Event dates are not secured until a rental contract and desposit have been processed. We confirm events at least four weeks in advance to guarantee service and staff. The use of tape, nails, art work, posters or signage brought in for an event must be displaced in a free-standing fashion and approved by the RecPlex. The RecPlex does not provide storage for event materials. All items must be brought in and removed from mpremises according to the access and exit times assigned on the official rental contract.
Reservation Policy
Team/Athlete/Entry Count report & event timeline/court usage per day must be submitted to RecPlex Sports within 72 hours of the event. Notification ahead of time of 72 hours if you will be bringing in any vendors to the facility (t-shirts, photographers, etc), so setup location and tables/chairs can be arranged. All RecPlex/Fieldhouse rules apply to rentals and all vendors must be approved at least 72 hours before the start of your event. Set up floor maps must be submitted within 7-days of the start of your event. A signed agreement MUST be returned to confirm reservation. Contracts must be returned within 10 days of being scheduled with a non-refundable $500.00 deposit in order to have your dates held.
Payment, Penalty & Late Fees
An invoice for the event usage will be sent via e-mail to the renter below within 2 days of conclusion of the event. Paymenet in full is due to the Village of Pleasant Prairie RecPlex at 9900 Terwall Terrace, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 no later than 21 (twenty-one) days after the receipt of delivery of the invoice. If the payment of any rent or any othe rmonies payable under the terms of this contract is more than (7) days after the due date for the payment, renter agree, upon demand of Pleasant Prairie Recreation Department, to pay a late payment charge equivalanet to five percent (5%) of the payment amount which was late. Thereafter, and in addition to such late payment charge, the Renter will pay interest on the unpaid balance at the rate of 12% per month until paid in full. I understand that I will receive written notice in advance of any change in the date of my payment or any change in the amount due and I understand that the RecPlex will cancel my rental agreement if they are unable to collect any payment due. Furthermore, I understand I am liable for any uncollected payment and for any fees or penalties imposed by the RecPlex or my financial institution related to any uncollected payment. Cancellations due to COVID-19 must be accompanied with proof of cancellation in order to be jusitifed. All return payments are subject to additional fees.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 30 days notice must be provided in order to reschedule a Fieldhouse rental. Cancellation or reschedule requests within 30 days of less of the rental date will be charged full price for the slot unless a new renter can be found. In the event that the rental must be stopped by eitehr party due to COVID-19, the rental cost will not be billed for time not used. Doumentation of such COVID-19 related required cancellation must be proven.
Special Provisions
No outside food or beverages are allowed in facilities. Concessions are made available for all events. Please advise all participants of this policy.
Live Barn
The RecPlex partners with Live Barn to provide a high-quality live stream of all events. No outside livestream may be used for any event on RecPlex Property. By signing this agreement, renters are agreeing to promote Live Barn’s services at the RecPlex for their event.
