OVERVIEW
The fourth annual Art Jam will be held in beautiful Matthews Park, located at 25 Ivy Street, between MoJo's Pizza and Huddle House on Hwy 65.
This free community festival will feature live performances, hands-on art projects for children and adults, and much more! The theme is “Total Eclipse of the Art" to coincide with Blackout Over Brier, a community-wide event celebrating the 2024 Solar Eclipse happening on April 8th. Lodging will be very limited across Arkansas for the weekend of the eclipse and rates will be elevated. Greenbrier has several campsites available for RVs, tent camping and primitive camping. Rates range from $400-1200 total for Friday through Monday night. Click HERE to reserve a campsite.
In addition, Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott in Conway, AR, (just a few miles south of the venue) has a block of rooms reserved for Art Jam vendors at the rate of $515 per night. This event is a partnership between the Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce, Greenbrier Area Arts Council, and City of Greenbrier. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Greenbrier Area Arts Council, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization.
WHO IS ELEGIBLE
Artists, crafters, vendors of jewelry, clothing, upcycled items, antiques, food vendors, etc., are welcome to participate. Direct sales, multi-level marketing companies and solicitation for services are strictly prohibited. (Exceptions may be made for sponsors whose product/services compliment the event.)
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Anyone wishing to participate MUST fill out the Registration section of this form and submit photos of their work and/or their booth display. Please be sure to enter your name and contact information properly and accurately. The way you enter it into this form is the way it will appear throughout the event, (e.g., on booth identification labels, in articles, online, etc.) Information entered in all CAPS or all lowercase is NOT preferred unless it is part of your brand. Please enter all information EXACTLY as you would like it to appear if it were to appear in print or online.
To purchase multiple booths, please indicate quantity on the Registration Form.
Locations of booths will be determined by the Art Jam Coordinators at their sole discretion. Participants may not request preferred locations or placement. No electricity or water hookups are available.

Applicants are responsible for keeping Art Jam Coordinators advised of accurate mailing addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses.

Booth fee(s) will be paid at time of application. Payment may be made by PayPal, or credit card. No refunds will be given.

SET UP/BREAKDOWN
All vendors will have the option to set up on the morning of Friday, April 5th or Saturday, April 6th between 7:00-9:00 am. (No discounts will be given for setting up on Saturday.)
Please be aware that all booths are located within a city park and there is limited shade. Winds can be gusty and strong in Arkansas and thunderstorms are common in April. A sturdy tent with side walls is advised. Participants must be prepared to secure their tents to asphalt or grass. The use of stakes may or may not be permitted. Sandbags or tent weights are required. A minimum of 40 pounds of weight per corner will be required. Tents may be inspected to ensure that they are properly secured. A weather plan will be included in acceptance packets. If you cannot remain at the event for the duration, please do not apply. Early breakdowns will NOT be permitted.
Individuals requesting ADA accommodation must make the request on their application below. We will make every effort to accommodate reasonable requests. If you have questions about any accommodation, please contact the Art Jam Coordinators before you apply.
EVENT POLICIES
Participants must present a full booth, utilizing all wall space throughout the duration of the festival. Artwork and all products sold must be in good taste and mindful of the show's intent and community standards. No political signs, slogans, campaign logos, etc. may be displayed. This is not a venue to campaign for any political office, candidate, or issue. Art Jam is a family-oriented event. Profanity, obscenity, or objectionable material will be removed.
Participants must provide and be responsible for their own tents, equipment, display racks, tables, chairs, etc. Displays must be strong enough to withstand winds, rain and crowds. No vehicles of any kind (trailers included) shall be allowed on the grass or used as booth display.
Participants must be physically present during the entire show and booth must be staffed at all times. Show time is 10 AM - 6 PM each day. All vendors are expected to have their tents open ready for business by 10 AM each day and to remain for the duration. Please plan accordingly. This time may be adjusted if the start and end time are delayed due to weather. (The festival will not extend past daylight hours as no electricity will be available, however, the park is well lit and will be regularly patrolled by police each night.) Tents are expected to stay set up thoughought the festival. NO EARLY BREAKDOWNS. Loading times will be included in the acceptance packet.
All vendors are responsible for collecting Arkansas Sales Tax of 6.5% on all sales during the festival and must fulfill reporting requirements for the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. Forms will be provided and collected at the festival.
All participants grant Art Jam the right to use submitted images, and any photos/videos taken at the festival that may include your image, likeness, and/or work for publicity purposes as a condition of being accepted as an exhibitor.
Smoking, vaping, dipping, drug use, and the consumption of alcohol, illegal drugs and tobacco in ANY FORM is strictly prohibited on park property by City Ordinance and will be strictly enforced.
Any individual that engages in inappropriate, aggressive, non-compliant, or illegal behavior to a patron, staff member or volunteer, or who violates the rules or policy of Art Jam or Matthews Park may be expelled or banned from the show and future shows.
