  • Discover Your Leadership Voice: Transforming Team Communication: Monday, June 3, 2024, 1pm-4pm

Everyone has a leadership voice, whether they know it or not. From the most quiet to the most gregarious, we all have the ability to lead others. The problem is most people don’t know their leadership voice or how to use it. Some don’t know what it is, others are insecure in their voice and have been told it is unimportant, and others immaturely overuse their voice and dominate the airwaves. Welcome to the 5 Voices.

The 5 Voices is designed to help every individual discover their leadership voice and be empowered to use it effectively. We believe teams and whole organizations can be transformed when everyone operates securely in their own voice and learns to value the voices of others.

Meals will not be included in this pre-conference.

    Cost is $60

  • Staying Healthy, Hopeful, and Effective While Building a Racially Just Campus: Sunday, June 2, 2024, 5pm-8pm & Monday, June 3, 2024, 8am-4pm

Trying to build a racially just and unified campus in the midst of our society's political tensions and cultural wars can be frustrating and exhausting! Despite the challenges, it is essential for Christian campuses to continue to work toward building a healthy, multiracial environment for their students and employees. In this pre-conference, you will have the opportunity to process and collaborate with other passionate leaders facing similar challenges. The content is designed for all student life professionals who would like to be encouraged and strengthened in their work, regardless if you have an "official" diversity role on campus or not. The first two sessions will be focused on YOU. Do you feel motivated? Encouraged or discouraged? Equipped? Then, we will discuss practical steps you can take to be an effective advocate for the long haul. The last two sessions will focus on your CAMPUS. Do you feel like your campus is moving forward, stuck in limbo, or moving backward? Then, we will discuss practical steps your campus can take to make sustainable progress and how you can help nudge those efforts along in your sphere of influence. Christina and Chad will share some insights from their 50+ years of combined experience working with individuals and organizations, but their primary focus will not be "content delivery." Their goal will be to facilitate encouraging, productive peer-to-peer dialogue and processing. It is highly recommended that participants read Christina and Chad's award-winning book Faithful Antiracism (faithfulantiracism.com) ahead of time. Throughout the pre-conference, they will reference and build on the biblical principles, research, and best practices described in the book. It is especially helpful if you can attend this pre-conference with a group from your campus.

Meals and early lodging provided for this pre-conference.

    Cost is $100
