Job Description
The Group Licensing Representative will primarily source and close new music licenses with large and medium-sized businesses that operate multiple locations under the same brand name. The position will include educating businesses that play music and/or host live performances on the value of music, their licensing requirements and the licensing process and associated costs.
The Group Licensing Representative will effectively work with senior executives, other teams within the Licensing department (e.g., operations) and cross-departmentally with legal, finance and technology personnel.

Responsibilities
- Selling, educating and assisting large and medium sized businesses (groups, chains, etc.) with securing an AllTrack music license that lawfully permits each of their locations to play AllTrack music
- Performing daily outreach via email, videoconference and phone
- Working with AllTrack licensing management on lead identification and sourcing techniques that enable success of the outreach process
- Gathering and distributing business intelligence (e.g, relevant news, reports, etc.) on a consistent and reliable basis
- Using the company’s CRM to notate and track all activities associated with outreach and deal success
- Educating businesses on how music creators and publishers are compensated for the use of their music and the corresponding music licensing rules for those businesses (the role includes on the job training regarding music rights if required)
- Participating in weekly meetings with AllTrack licensing management to inform and share on outreach and selling best practices
- Representing AllTrack (and its affiliates) in the most professional manner to all prospects and clients
- Promoting AllTrack’s position in the industry including potentially representing it on industry panels and at tradeshows on occasion, as requested
- Adhering to all company code of conduct policies and values
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience selling to large and medium sized businesses that typically come with longer-term sales cycles
- Performing Rights Organization experience preferred
- Experience with customer service is a plus
- Experience with early-stage high growth companies is a plus (i.e. we move fast)
- Experience in the business side of music is a plus, but not required
- One year of experience in a call center environment is a plus
- Access to a computer and a reliable internet connection
- Proficiency with lightweight technology (Microsoft Office, Windows, CRM)
- Punctuality, dependability and the highest level of professionalism are mandatory at all times
- Strong ability to remain organized in a dynamic environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Occasional potential for travel

Compensation
- Salary commensurate with experience
- Uncapped earning potential via commissions
