2023 SOAR Summit Volunteer Form

VOLUNTEER APPLICATION

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2023 SOAR Summit, presented by Appalachian Wireless and the Appalachian Regional Commission. The event will be held on October 3-4, 2023 at the Corbin Arena. We will also be hosting a Pre-Summit session on Monday, October 2 at the Williamsburg Tourism Conference Center.

The Summit is Appalachia's premier event, and it takes a dedicated network of volunteers working together to make the experience memorable for our attendees.

Here's what to expect once you complete the application:
- You'll begin to receive communication from our team, including a promo code to receive your complimentary registration to Summit events and activities.
- You'll work with our team and the SOAR Summit Steering Committee on volunteer assignments and roles.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Passion | This is why we do what we do, and this should be at the core as to why you want to volunteer to be a part of the 2021 SOAR Summit team. A desire to learn more about SOAR and our Blueprint for the Future of Appalachia is always a plus.

Commitment | We are looking for groups and individuals that stay true to their commitments and that are willing to serve in roles that may be individualized or part of other groups.

Team Player | SOAR’s work is grounded in collaboration. We are searching for those willing to learn and willing to serve alongside like-minded people in a variety of roles.

Reliable | As a volunteer, every role, as small as it may seem, plays a role in a much bigger picture, or in this case, experience for our attendees.
