Tenco Distributed Generation Information Form Logo
  • Tenco Distributed Generation Information Form

  • The following information form should be completed and submitted to Tenco when our client is planning to generate their own electricity within an embedded network that we manage on their behalf.  Tenco will review the information submitted and discuss the matter with our client.  Only our client as the owner of the property and the underlying electrical infrastructure has the authority to provide approval for the generation system.

Please provide all the requested information.  Incomplete applications may result in processing delays. Please also complete a comprehensive analysis of the hourly electricity consumptions patterns at the property coupled with the hourly forecasted output from the proposed generation.  If there is a possibility that generation output may be exported beyond the gate meter to the local network at any time, Tenco highly recommends that a separate distributed generation application be submitted to the local network company for their review and approval.

Tenco also recommends that you contact the respective electricity retailer associated with the ICP referenced below to advise them that generation will be installed.  The retailer may need to have a bidirectional meter installed or the existing meter reprogrammed.
