    All rental requests for the Remembrance Hall (main hall) will not be confirmed until the Legion receives a $200.00 Damage/Cancellation cheque and the Facility Rental Agreement is signed by the Renter. For all Remembrance Hall rentals, this Damage/Cancellation deposit payment of $200.00 is mandatory and is paid at the time of the completion of the rental agreement.

    This Rental/Cancellation deposit will be held if your event is cancelled by you 30 days before the event or if there is damage at the Legion as a result of your event. This deposit will be refunded to the applicant at the end of the event when the Renter and a Legion representative have inspected the facility. Furthermore, the Renter is responsible for any damage in excess of the $200.00 damage deposit. The full amount of the rental fee will be paid at the start of the event.

    All rental requests for the Club Room, Schofield and Mountbatten Rooms require the Renter to sign the Rental Agreement. Payment in full will be required at the start of the event in these two room.

    If your event is open to the public and you are serving food, please contact the Haliburton, Kawartha, and Pine Ridge District Health Unit at 1-866-888-4577 to determine your responsibility. It is your responsibility to follow the public health guidelines and apply for a permit as directed by the Public Health Unit.

    Renters are responsible for monitoring the number of people and contact list.

    Confetti or similar substances are not permitted inside or outside the premises.

    If the Renter is using the kitchen facilities, they must have a person who is familiar with the equipment and its operations or is available to come in for a training session. You must provide your own paper towels, dish clothes, oven mitts, plastic wrap and foil.

    On completion of your rental, the Renter must:

    • Leave the hall, room and/or kitchen facilities in a clean and presentable condition
    • Remove all decorations, balloons etc. from the rented facilities
    • Take down all tables and chairs (except if the setup charge was paid, then the Legion will do this).

    The rules of the Legion will apply to all guests, if alcohol is being served:

    • All alcoholic beverages are to be served by the Legion bar stewards only (no external Smart Serve personnel allowed)
    • The Renter is responsible for the conduct of his/her guests at all times.
    • No alcoholic beverages are allowed in the lobby or beyond at any time and this will be strictly enforced by a Legion representative on duty at the door.
    • Under-age persons may not purchase or consume any alcoholic beverages.

  • Kitchen & Kitchen Supplies Rental

    The rental of the kitchen includes bleach, dishwasher liquid and hand washing facilities. Note: dish towels, paper towels, plastic wrap, foil and oven mitts are the responsibility of the renter. It is the responsibility of the person renting the kitchen to leave it in a clean and tidy condition. Stoves and grills must be cleaned, dishwashers and strainers cleaned out and shut off, coffee pots empties and rinsed out, slicer cleaned, dishes put away in their proper places, fans turned off, windows closed.We also offer rental of our kitchen supplies such as kitchen counters, coffee/tea urns, fridge, dishes, cutlery and dishwasher.

  • Mountbatten Room Rental

    Events up to 45 people. Bar rental available for an added cost. Hourly Rate:$25.00 per hour (minimum of 2 hours) Daily Rate: of $80.00

  • Schofield Room Rental

    Events up to 30 people, wheelchair accessible.Hourly Rate:$25.00 per hour (minimum of 2 hours) Daily Rate: of $80.00

  • Club Room Rental

    Events up to 120 people and only outside of Member’s Club Room hours, Monday-Saturday, before 2pm and 7pm and later. Use the pay-for-use sports equipment. Bar rental, stage rental, and PA system rental available for an added cost. Mon-Thurs daily rate is $100. Friday rate is $150. Saturday rate is $200.

  • Remembrance Hall (Main Hall) Rental

    Events up to 210 dining seating (depends on seating design) or 240 for dance with a few tables. Wheelchair accessible. Bar rental, stage rental, sound system rental, and kitchen rental available for an added cost. For all Remembrance Hall rentals, there is a mandatory damage/cancellation deposit payment of $200.00. This deposit will be reflected in the total rental fee at the end of this application form. There is a Setup and Clean Up fee of $100.00. This fee will be waived if you setup and take down under Legion supervision. We offer daily rentals. If you need an hourly rental, we offer hourly rates only from Monday's to Thursday's. There are no hourly rentals permitted on Friday or Saturday.

  • Bar Rental

    The bar rental is only available if you rent the the Remembrance Hall, Clubroom or Mountbatten room.

  • Projector and Screen Rental

    The projector and screen rental is only available if you rent any one of our rooms. The cost is $50 per event.

  • PA System Rental (Microphone)

    The PA System (Microphone) rental is only available if you rent the Club Room or the Rememberance Hall. The cost per event is $10.

  • Total Rental Fee

    Payable by debit, cash, cheque, or e-transfer. If paying by e-transfer, please email rcl129acct@outlook.com. Indicate in the message section that it is a rental deposit for (name the event).
