It's important to us to make sure that we're able to accommodate everyone's needs to create a safe and accessible camp. To do that, we'll need to know what to plan for ahead of time. Please let us know if your needs change ahead of camp, but we can't guarantee accomodations for things we don't know about ahead of time.
Camps like this are a collective endeavor, so we ask that you come willing and excited to help make camp run! This might look like chopping veggies for a meal or cleaning out a bathroom as we leave. While labor is not expected, it is always appreciated and there will be plenty of rolesfor everyone's needs.
This will be a largely outdoor, Covid-conscious camp. We encourage masking while indoors with large groups when not actively eating.
There will be medics on site. We will have an experienced, on-site kitchen working to deliver high quality food that meets every tummy's needs.
We'll have a limited number of indoor beds available, in a shared sleeping arrangement, so we're asking folks who are able to plan to camp. We'll have indoor bathrooms as well as a few port-o-johns.
Some roles and activities will require moderate to strenuous physical exertion. While the space does have some paved walkways, significant walking across grass will be required for some activities.
Presentation and discussion will be in English. If you need translation, please let us know though we cannot make guarantees.
Children are always welcome to the space, and childcare can be arranged if necessary. However, our tone and language will be appropriate to the crisis at hand.
