NATIONAL MULTIPARTITE STAKEHOLDER CONSULTATION ON CHILD LABOUR IN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

CHILD LABOUR PRE-TEST QUESTIONNAIRE

The Pre-Test Questionnaire is being used as an assessment tool to gauge the participant’s knowledge, understanding and perceptions on the issue of Child Labour prior to participating in the stakeholder consultation. 

The information collected from the Pre-Test Questionnaire would be used to conduct a comparative analysis with the information collected from the Post-Test Questionnaire.  The Post-Test Questionnaire is required to be completed by all participants at the end of the stakeholder consultation.

This would assist the Ministry of Labour in assessing the effectiveness of the consultation and the impact on participant’s knowledge, understanding and perceptions of Child Labour.

Steffi is 14 years old and does not attend school. Instead, she sells fruits and vegetables by the highway from 6am to 7pm every day.  Her neighbor, Juanita is a migrant and is 17 years old.  She works at a bar where sometimes her working hours are 14 hours a day, especially on weekends.  The bar also has a reputation for engaging some of its workers in prostitution activities.
