• WGYB School Participation Request

Important: A separate request form must be completed for each individual school site. Requests may not be combined.

    Program Overview
Giving Children Hope’s We’ve Got Your Back (WGYB) program is a weekly nutrition initiative designed to support students identified under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act as experiencing unstable housing. The program provides consistent access to food and essential resources, helping to reduce stressors related to food insecurity and create a foundation for academic and personal success.

    Our Goal
The mission of the We’ve Got Your Back program is not only to meet immediate basic needs but also to foster long-term transformation. Through our collaborative network, we strive to shift mindsets from need and despair toward hope, resilience, and self-sufficiency.

    Your Role in This Request
To help us continue this work, we ask that schools be as thorough as possible in completing this form. Helping our donors clearly understand the urgency and depth of need at your school site is critical to sustaining and growing this program. Please provide detailed information wherever possible, including stories, examples, and context that highlight the realities your students and families are facing.

  • Program Partnership Questions

Giving Children Hope partners with local schools to identify homeless and at-risk students in need of nutritional support. Together with schools and community partners, we work to promote family sustainability, economic independence, and self-sufficiency, creating a path toward wellness for vulnerable children and their families.

By completing this request for program services, your school is committing to a true partnership: not only providing a consistent source of nutritious food and basic needs, but also collaborating with us to build a stronger future for the families we serve. Thank you for joining us in this mission.
