Nomination Categories:
Distinguished Trailblazer: This award honors a woman who has a proven track record of reaching ambitious or unconventional goals demonstrated by upward career mobility, steady growth and leadership skills. She is willing to take risks, inspires and motivates others. She has “broken glass ceilings,” overcome and excelled under extreme challenges and demonstrated perseverance.
Distinguished Leader of Tomorrow (ages 16-21): This award will be presented to a young woman who has demonstrated outstanding leadership ability and has contributed to her school and community. She has spearheaded a project or program to improve quality of life. Preference is given to a young woman who is/was a Girl Scout.
Distinguished Personal Achievement: This award honors a woman who lives her life in such a way to serve others, both through her career and volunteer activities. She is a leader and an inspiration to others in all aspects of her life. She is willing to take risks and pursue activities that she believes in. It is by her example that others are motivated to take action.
Distinguished Community Leader: This award will be given to a woman who has demonstrated outstanding contributions over a period of time to her community. She is a role model, community leader, mentor, or has broken new ground. She is an agent for change who has made a measurable difference to those around her.
Environmental Activitist: This award honors a woman who recognized opportunities to engage others in the fight against climate change. Her leadership position in her career or community enables her to confidently serve as a role model and mentor for environmental concerns.
