This is a volunteer-run After School Chess Program

This agreement will help us understand and agree to our requirements around student behavior during class, to help make this a valuable experience for all kids. Parent/Guardian Signatures are required for a child's participation in class. Please discuss this agreement with your child so they understand the expectations. Please understand, this is not an after-school Day Care program. Thank you for your understanding.

RULES OF THE MCKINLEY CHESS PROGRAM:
1. Always be respectful of instructors and volunteer leaders of the program
2. Always be on time for class
3. No eating or drinking during class
4. Pay attention to the instructors
5. During Chess games, focus on CHESS
6. Do not disrupt other children who are playing a game
7. No bullying or negative behavior
8. Be a good sport - respect the other player
9. Maintain cleanliness to the room and the facilities
PARENT SIGNATURE - by signing, I acknowledge that my child understands the rules of the program and will follow them. I further understand that continued disruptive behavior will result in 1) the instructor asking me to remove my child from the program and 2) my full support of this decision. I recognize that while the instructor will do their best to make the program work for my child, the time may not be right for my child for this activity in this setting.
