We seek a Full-Time Staff Accountant with experience in small business. The successful candidate is knowledgeable and well-versed in all aspects of business accounting. The Clients we serve rely on us to CRUSH their financial statements with a quick turnaround. Attention to detail and commitment to teamwork are a must.
The right candidate possesses a mindset that thinks proactively and analytically to spot accounting issues for our Clients. Our Clients rely on our expertise in providing timely and accurate financial statement preparation. We assist our business owner clients to maximize their profits and reduce their tax burden.

Duties:
Advanced bookkeeping and payroll
Customized QuickBooks Online reports
NC & SC sales tax preparation
Preparation and internal review of financial statements
Assisting with banking/finance documents
Business income tax return preparation - Sch. C, 1120S and 1065
Personal income tax return preparation for business owners
Payroll tax and work comp audits

GAAP: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
CPA (Preferred)
Work Location: Remote
Minimum Education & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Minimum of 3 years experience in public accounting
Highly proficient in QuickBooks Online with experience in business bookkeeping for multiple entities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Teams
Experience with payroll tax processing and amendments
Current NC CPA or EA designation not required, but willingness to obtain is highly preferred. Prior experience with audit and/or payroll tax amendments a major plus.
