WELCOME TO THE 2025 LDGC Spring FLEX LEAGUE 

 

 

OVERVIEW:
The LDGC is proud to present the 2025 Langley Spring Flex League! To be played at Passive Park and Raptors Knoll over 15 weeks. The league will start the week of March 9th, and run until the week of June 22nd
Each week players will be able to play a league round with at least 1 other league member, (MIN 2 per card. Find partners to play with at the LDGC Discord Server: LINK) at any time of their choosing during the week, at the selected course and league layout for each week. To qualify as a league round, you must login to UDisc Events and find the Langley DG League and start a scorecard with the other league members. SOLO ROUNDS WILL NOT BE COUNTED. Each week the course and layout to be played will be posted on the Langley Disc Golf Club’s Discord Server and Instagram page, and can also be seen in the UDisc app. The weeks will begin on Mondays, and end on Sundays. You only get one round per week. But if you have a bad round, don’t worry! Out of the 15 weeks you only keep 10 of them, so your bad rounds will get taken off. This also ensures that people that can’t make it every week, still have a chance to compete.

FORMAT:
Winners decided on EOD of June 15th by points awarded for weekly stroke play against your division, bonus points for bonus holes and Ace's, and double points from the finals. We currently have 5 divisions. Mixed Gold, Mixed Blue, Mixed Red, Womens Gold, Womens Red. More will be added if there is demand. (The color of the division is NOT related to Raptors tee pads colors)

SCORING:
Points will be based on how the format below:
1st=10
2nd=9
3rd=8
etc.
If two players tie for a position, those points are added up and divided by the number of players tied. IE if two players tie for 2nd, the formula looks like this: 9+8=17 / 2= 8.5 In order to give everybody a chance to compete, you will only be able to keep your best 10 weekly scores. However, you will still get to keep 1 point for showing up, and any bonus or ACE points you get, even if that weekly score gets dropped. So if you have a horrible round, but are able to get an ACE, you would get to keep 1 point for showing up, and 3 points for the ACE.
Bonus Points:
Each week a hole will be determined to be the BONUS hole. The lowest scores in your division on that hole UNDER PAR will be awarded 1 extra point. For example, let’s say Hole 5 at Raptors is the bonus hole for the week. If 6 people score a birdie on it, those 6 people get a bonus point at the end of the week. BUT, if anybody eagles the hole, only players getting an eagle for the week would get a point. If the entire division pars the hole, NO bonus points will be given in that division. Each person who gets a bonus point for the week will be put into a draw for random prizes. (RED divisions will be based off of par, not birdies)
Players are also awarded 3 bonus points for any Aces.
We will also have some sponsorship prizes from our official sponsors, The ARtful Dodger, Zen Wild Botanicals, Kings Music, Rare Discs, and Sports Replay. (still trying to get more Sponsors as well. If you know of anybody, send them my way) Each week there will be a random draw that everybody is included in. As well, all players who get bonus points for the week are entered into another draw for prizes. Aces get three entries.

FINALS:
At the end of the 14 weeks, the finals on the 15th week will be worth double points. Winners will be decided at the end of the day on Sunday June 15th.
