    Marketplace Shop Registration

The information provided in this form is stored in a secured table by Jotform and only accessible to Artisans Cooperative for purposes of bookkeeping and law compliance.

  • II. Artisans Cooperative Policies

  • We are an engaged and ethical community creating a “better” handmade marketplace. To list your products on our marketplace, we require all artisans to comply with the following policies:

    • Handmade Policy
    • Terms of Service
    • Privacy Policy
    • Product Listing Policy
    • Mature Content / NSFW Policy
    • Additional Policies
  • III.  Sales Commission

  • Our fee structure is simple and transparent. We designed our marketplace and financial model to be responsive to the needs of our community.

There are no listing fees, only a simple sales commission that is determined by your membership status. You can change your membership status at any time by joining or terminating.

Membership comes with many benefits besides a lower sales commission, including an ownership share of the cooperative business, the right to submit proposals, vote, and run for the board, and additional marketing benefits for visibility on the marketplace.

The sales commission structure is as follows:

The sales commission for Artisan members is 8%.
The sales commission for Supporter members is 9.5%.
The sales commission for non-members is 12%.

There are no annual dues for membership. Membership is one-time ownership investment, which can be returned upon termination. There are multiple payment plans for any budget, including non-cash options called “points.” The full buy-in costs 1,000 points ($1,000). To join requires a minimum $10 USD payment and a 1-year pledge to earn the remainder in points. Points can be earned through sales, purchases, membership activities (hours), referrals, handmade verification activities, and more.
