Hello,
My name is Isabel Khira, and I am a Business Management major at Glasgow Caledonian University. I am currently conducting research on eco-labelling and its impact on consumer choices, particularly in the context of Kenya. I am reaching out to you to seek your valuable insights and opinions as a participant in this research study.
Project Overview:
My research aims to investigate how eco-labelling influences consumer behaviour and purchasing decisions in Kenya. Eco-labels are symbols or certifications on products that indicate their environmental attributes, such as being environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, or sustainable. With the increasing awareness of environmental issues and the importance of responsible consumption, understanding how consumers perceive and respond to eco-labels is crucial.
This study aims to assess the effectiveness of existing eco-labelling schemes in Kenya, with a specific focus on the KEBS (Kenya Bureau of Standards) framework. It also aims to propose a unified eco-labelling metric system that can simplify the eco-label landscape for consumers and businesses, thereby promoting informed choices and environmental sustainability.
Data Protection and Privacy:
Your privacy and data security are of utmost importance. I want to assure you that any information you provide in this survey will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality and in compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act. Your responses will be used for research purposes only and will be kept strictly anonymous. After completing this research, all data will be securely stored and then safely discarded per the provisions of the Kenya Data Protection Act. Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you may choose to exit the survey at any point without any obligation.
