The Texas Pork Producers Association Summer Internship program requires travel and overtime work. The internship would tentatively start May 18, 2026, and end July 31, 2026.

Below are event dates to be aware of for the summer:
- June 1-4 - Texas 4-H Roundup (College Station)
- June 11-14 - Texas Pork Youth Retreat and Awards Banquet (College Station)
- June 21-25 - "ChopTalk" Advocacy Academy: Session (Austin)
- July 6-9 - Texas FFA State Convention (Fort Worth)
- July 12-17 - Texas Pork Junior Ambassador Orientation/Development Week (Lubbock)
- July 22-29 - Texas Pork Junior Ambassador Tour (DC/Iowa)
