The Texas Pork Producers Association Summer Internship program requires travel and overtime work. The internship would tentatively start May 12, 2025, and end August 1, 2025.

Below are event dates to be aware of for the summer:
- June 2-5 - Texas 4-H Roundup
- June 12-15 - Texas Pork Youth Retreat and Awards Banquet
- June 30-July 3 - Texas FFA State Convention
- July 13-18 - Texas Pork Junior Ambassador Orientation/Development Week
- July 21-25 - Texas Pork Leadership Camp
