CBFNC is hosting a summit with seminary students from across our four partner schools (Campbell, Duke, Wake Forest, and Gardner-Webb) for conversations that matter. The event is FREE, with lunch and dinner provided.
CBFNC is designing the summit based on the needs and interests of students. There will be opportunities for networking with CBFNC and Global staff, exploring challenging facets of preparing for ministry, and receiving resumé coaching.
Through registration, you can share your thoughts and insights into what conversations will be meaningful to your formation. We know that ministering in a purple context or ministering in a church different from your own theological views, the ministerial transition process, leading change, bi-professionalism, and generational gaps between senior pastors and staff ministers are big topics among seminarians.
CBFNC's MidWinter Retreat for college students and young adults begins on the evening of February 2 and ends on February 4 at Quaker Lake Camp. Seminarians are also invited to participate in a portion or the entire retreat. You can register for MidWinter here: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/cbfeve/event/midwinter2024/.
