About Us:

What do we do?
Eckhart Consulting provides strategy and management consulting services to a diverse range of clients, including non-profit organizations, established corporations, and start-ups. Our projects last 10-12 weeks, and consultants have the chance to work on two projects per year. Each project team consists of 4-6 consultants, an engagement manager, and a professional advisor.

What’s the time commitment?
Project teams meet once per week and Eckhart Consulting generally meets as an organization once every two weeks. Members are expected to attend all meetings. Consultants should expect to spend an average of 5-10 hours per week in meetings and on assigned workflows.

Who should apply?
We are looking for intelligent, hard-working, and highly-motivated team players who want to gain exposure to a variety of projects and clients. We’re looking for people who bring a compelling excitement for solving real world challenges.

Eckhart Bookstore

Eckhart Bookstore is a small-business operating from Hyde Park. A moderately successful firm, they’ve recently (over the past year) experienced massive growth, thanks to “BookTok.” While they currently operate only in Hyde Park, they are looking into expanding their bookstore in the hopes of increasing their profits.
 
Eckhart Bookstore has identified 3 cities they’re interested in expanding to, and have brought you in to provide guidance on which option they should seriously consider. To help your decision, they’ve provided insight into each city. Look over these exhibits, and determine where they should expand to!

 

The following exhibits will help you answer these 4 questions:

3. What assumptions did you make?

Selected candidates will be invited for first-round interviews (casual attire) with Eckhart Consulting between October 9th-12th. Final round candidates will be invited to interview on Sunday, October 15th. Business casual attire is required for the final round. Note that on the Saturday before final round interviews (October 14th), EC will also be hosting a casual brunch for all of the final round candidates to meet other members of the club.
