    GHCC Use of Facilities Agreement

  • The Greater Hulett Community Center (GHCC) encourages the use of their facilities for recreational and educational activities by the residents of the Greater Hulett Community.  Some restrictions are necessary to protect the property and to promote the work of the Center.  Therefore, the Board has established guidelines pertaining to use of the facilities.  Groups wishing to use the building must request permission from the Director.  Rental and usage fees will vary.  The following are general guidelines for use of facilities:

    1. Activities must not interfere with the regular programming of the GHCC.
    2. The use of facilities should not substantially raise the cost of maintenance and operations.
    3. Activities shall not endanger the health or safety of people and property.
    4. Activities shall not be authorized in a discriminatory manner.
    5. GHCC will assume no liability to the users of programs which are conducted separately from the regular Center programs.  Organizations/Persons are required to provide an indemnifying release and/or certificate of insurance.
    6. The organizations using the facility are responsible for the care, maintenance, and cleaning.
    7. Operational supervision will be the responsibility of the organization using the facilities.
    8. Groups may be asked to make donations, pay a fee, pay for utilities, and provide a cleaning deposit.   
    9. Fees will be based on:

    a.  Non-profit/profit status        b.  Organizational resources

    c.  Number of rooms needed    d.  Length of time to be used

     

    Room Rental Policies

    • Reservations are made on a first-come first-served basis.
    • Payment and deposit are required at least three days (3) prior to the rental date and/or at the time you pick up your key.
    • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
    • There MUST be adult supervision at all times for youth activities.
    • Food and drinks may only be in the designated areas.  Water only in the gymnasium unless prior permission is obtained.  You are responsible for all clean up.
    • Alcohol is prohibited in the building except for permission granted by the Crook County School Board for the Old West Invitational Turkey Shoot event and the month of July.  This permission is granted on an annual basis.
    • Deposits will be returned upon the return of the keys and the facility checked for damages.  Please write a separate check for the deposit.
    • If a key is given out, keys must be returned the following business day of the rental.
    • Users must follow all GHCC general facility policies.

    Prices are Per Hour - under Quantity choose the number of hours you wish to use the facilities. You can choose up to 5 hours per day.
  • I have read, understand and agree to follow all the preceding policies concerning the use of The Greater Hulett Community Center.  On behalf of my organization, I acknowledge permission to use the facilities in accordance with these rules.  In consideration of the permission and privilege allowed to me and my organization that we will indemnify, save, and hold harmless the Greater Hulett Community Center and its directors, employees, and representatives, and all other persons liable for any and all losses, claims or actions, or proceedings of every kind and character which may be presented or initiated to recover money, property, or damages for any injuries to persons, or injurious results, or any damages to property suffered which arise from our use of the Greater Hulett Community Center.  I agree to make this information available to all other members of my organization as necessary.
