Serving Before & After Worship

Offer a before-worship greeting to attendees while passing out bulletins, checking-in visitors and helping attendees sign up for upcoming events.

Arrive before worship and offer a smile, handshake or words of welcome to all attendees. Focus especially on identifying and welcoming newcomers, telling them about Calvary, and introducing them to other Calvary members and when possible to our pastoral staff.

Join our Aloha Team in welcoming newcomers before worship. Assist with collecting offering during worship and resetting the sanctuary after worship by removing bulletins, and reorganizing the pews.

Assist with opening and closing the campus on Sundays! Create a beautiful space for worship by tidying the lawn/ parking area and preparing the sanctuary for worship by opening the doors and windows, turning on the a/c, and setting out tables or chairs

Assist before worship with preparation of the paraments, décor, sanctuary banners, candles or communion elements and remove elements after service.

Assist before worship with coffee making as well as setting out refreshments and assist with putting away food at the close of fellowship time.
