  • Voting form for BWF Player of the Year Awards

  • Thank you for being part of the BWF Voting Panel for the BWF Player of the Year Awards 2024.

Your contributions will help decide nominees and winners for the five marquee awards:

    • Men’s Singles Player of the Year
    • Women’s Singles Player of the Year
    • Men’s Doubles Pair of the Year
    • Women’s Doubles Pair of the Year
    • Mixed Doubles Pair of the Year

The tally of points in each award category will be derived from a combination of average world ranking points collected during the eligibility period, and the sum of votes from the five panel members.

A weighting system will be established whereby the average world ranking points will represent a larger value of the total sum of BWF Player of the Year Award points collected.

The top four in each event will qualify as nominees, with the player/pair with the most points declared the winner.

The voting panellists will submit votes at a total of 12 tournaments. The assessment period is between 1 December 2023 to 30 November 2024.

Should any panellist be unavailable to fulfil the voting duties at any of the 12 tournaments, either in person or watching remotely, a replacement will be appointed by the BWF Awards Commission.
